Marianne M. So, P.E., BSME ’07, MBA ‘17 is a Mechanical Engineer at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) in downtown LA, where she creates the system architecture of the Treatment facilities serving the city’s four million residents and focuses on pilot studies to vet new technology for improving Water Quality. Before joining the LADWP, Ms. So developed Air Management Systems as a Principal Engineer in the Chief Technology Office at Honeywell Aerospace. She has sixteen years of engineering experience in the public and private sector specializing in trade studies to optimize system design. She is a Past-President of the UCLA Engineering Alumni Association and an Industry Advisor to UCLA’s Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department.
