It is our pleasure to announce that, after thorough discussion, our MAE Awards and Honors Committee has selected Professor Brett Lopez to be the recipient of the 2022-23 MAE Outstanding Teaching Award! Professor Lopez has taught a range of courses in controls and aerospace design areas at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He has been commended for his clear, effective, organized, neat, engaging, helpful, and empathetic teaching by a vast majority of students in a large class.
