The MAE Awards and Honors Committee has selected Associate Professor Veronica Santos as the recipient of the AY16-17 MAE Department Teaching Award. Professor Santos has consistently high evaluations in the core undergraduate course MAE102, and she also introduced a popular graduate course in robotics MAE263C.
Additionally, the Awards and Honors Committee has selected Ewa Barylak for the AY16-17 MAE Department Staff Award. Ms. Barylak’s support during the period when the MAE fund manager positions were understaffed was appreciated by many faculty.
