RoMeLa at UCLA, led by Professor Dennis Hong, built the robot COSMO for the new movie “The Electric State” by the Russo Brothers. The filmmakers enlisted the Robotics & Mechanisms Laboratory (RoMeLA) at the University of California, Los Angeles, to create an actual physical robot. The New York Times published an article on the robot and the movie.
