On behalf of the MAE Awards and Honors Committee, MAE is pleased to announce the following graduate students as co-recipients of our Outstanding Teaching Assistant awards: Stephen Schein and Colin Togashi.  Both Stephen and Colin have demonstrated the highest level of dedication, teaching quality, and commitment to our instructional mission over many quarters.  Each more recently has served as lead TA in large and challenging courses.  Our Awards and Honors Committee would also like to make honorable mention of another outstanding TA, Peter Ferguson, whose departmental teaching contributions have also been exemplary.

Finally, although Spring quarter of 2020 was a challenging one for most TAs, with a rapid transition to remote learning, a number of TAs for laboratory courses were identified by faculty nominators as having served well above and beyond the call of duty, and we would like to recognize them.  They are Angel Aleman, Navid Ebrahimi, Danny Ko, and Ujash Shah for the MAE 157 lab and David Morrow and Anil Nair for the MAE 157A lab.

Congratulations to all of our outstanding TAs for their dedicated contributions to the MAE department!

(MAE Prof. Ann Karagozian was the Chair of the 2019-20 MAE Awards and Honors Committee.)
