Emma Neal was awarded the 2025 Vishal Parikh Memorial Scholarship. This merit-based scholarship includes a monetary award and in addition is tied to a summer internship at AFRL/RQR at Edwards AFB, CA during the summer of 2025. Emma is a third-year Aerospace Engineering major and a member of Rocket Project’s hybrid-rocket team, Prometheus. She has a strong interest in rocket propulsion systems, particularly in engine design and testing. This summer, she’ll be interning at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where she’ll be conducting research on rotating detonation rocket engines (RDREs).
