Distinguished Professor Ann Karagozian received the Commander’s Public Service Award from the U.S. Department of the Air Force (DAF) in June, 2024, in recognition of her service as a member of the DAF Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) during 2017-2021. The award was bestowed by Lt. Col. Steven Ingraham, the Executive Director of the DAF SAB, and Dr. Nils Sandell, Chair of the DAF SAB. Prof. Karagozian also served on the SAB during 1997-2010, including a 4 year period as SAB Vice Chair.
