The Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Department is pleased to announce Professor Elisa Franco as the recipient of the 2025 MAE Faculty Teaching Award. Selected by the department’s Awards and Honors Committee, Professor Franco was recognized for outstanding performance in both undergraduate and graduate instruction, as well as a deep commitment to student learning and success.
In addition to her excellence in the classroom, Professor Franco maintains a highly impactful research program and contributes actively to departmental service. Her ability to balance these roles exemplifies the dedication and leadership that strengthen our academic community.
