UCLA MAE Professor Jacob Rosen‘s graduate students Sahba Pedram and Peter Ferguson along with post-doc Ji Ma won the best poster award at the SoCal Robotics Symposium, which was attended by students and faculty members from USC, UCLA, UCSB, UCSD, CalTech, and JPL. This work is a result of ongoing research efforts with Dr. Erik Dutson at the UCLA Center for Advanced Surgical and Interventional Technology (CASIT) and the Department of Surgery in the general field of automation in surgical robotics.
