2010-2011 MAE Undergraduate Scholarship Winners

The MAE recipients of the 2010-2011 MAE Undergraduate Scholarship Winners were announced. All students who were nominated are commended for their accomplishments!

Vishal Parikh Memorial Scholarship and AFRL Summer Research Assistantship (1)
Principally funded by Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne and the Air Force Research Laboratory
For outstanding academic achievement coupled with a strong interest in the field of Rocket Propulsion
Award: $5,000 in ADDITION to a summer research internship at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Propulsion Directorate, Edwards Air Force Base
Winner:  David Wirth

Boeing Scholarships (4)
For outstanding academic achievement in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with leadership in extracurricular activities
Awards: $7,480 each
Winners:  Aditya Chandramohan, Thomas Henry Marcil, Wesley Tamanaha, Michael Wagner

Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne Scholarships (2)
For outstanding academic achievement in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with leadership in extracurricular activities
Awards: $4,750 each

Joseph Beggs Foundation Scholarship (1)
For outstanding academic achievement coupled with a strong commitment to the field of Automotive Engineering
Award: $5,000

Award: $1,500

Jonathan Wolfe Memorial Scholarship (1)
For outstanding academic achievement coupled with a strong commitment to the field of Aerospace Engineering
