Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Professor (and MAE Vice Chair for Industrial Relations) Ann Karagozian was recently elected Vice-Chair of the American Physical Society's Division of Fluid Dynamics. This position becomes effective at the upcoming APS/DFD meeting in San Antonio, TX, November 23-25, 2008. In subsequent years, Karagozian will serve as Chair Elect, then Chair of the Division.
